SEEKING TRUTH & VIRTUE IN HIGHER EDUCATION TODAY

This 4-day course is designed for high school students and graduates heading to college in the Fall.

It makes use of the Socratic Method, mini-lectures and round table discussions. Students are assigned readings to engage with the topics and earn a certificate of participation.

Organizing Medicine

Topics in Bioethics Course

Medical practice and scientific research in the biomedical sciences are, at their core, human activities governed by reason. After completing this course, students are able to describe bioethical issues of acute relevance in the world today. They can apply ethical principles to conduct analyses of specific problems and to propose potential solutions.

A 1 credit Independent Study course will be offered at St. John Fisher University during the Spring of 2024.
